Sweet 6 month follow up
I love this baby. She is super sweet and super social. Her big smiles and outgoing personality made the session so fun!

My kiddos

I like to have formal pictures of the kids every year around their birthdays. Believe me, taking pictures of my own kiddos is pretty hard because they are sick of having their pictures taken. We have so many pictures of them out in our beautiful surroundings that I like this once-a-year picture to be with a backdrop. Here they are!

Super cuties!
-9.jpg)
On Thursday, I had the pleasure of photographing these cuties from Logan's preschool. I enjoyed myself a lot and the mom was fantastic. She played peek-a-boo and called names and stayed super positive the entire time!
This is the very first picture I took, and I just love how it turned out.
Later, while her brother was avoiding the camera at all costs, this is what this five-year-old belle was up to:-14.jpg)

The little brother was really interested in the toys I brought along to encourage him to look at me. I worked hard to grab some portraits while he dashed around playing.
I love this one:

Down by the river....

One of my favorite things about summer is a standing playdate with long-time "baby" friends. I've known this family since our first children were 4 and 6 months old. It's good that we have a standing playdate, because, occasionally, when that standing playdate gets lost amoungst the chaos of preschoolers and toddlers, months slip by too quickly. I feel very fortunate to have such an understanding friend to discuss mothering with while the kids get outside and play! Thanks for letting me start my blog with you!
It's a start!
I have loved taking pictures since I received my first camera when I was eight years old. All through school I took thousands of pictures and created collages with them. In college, I discovered the joys of photoshop and playing with the images. In more recent years, I've photographed my children (of course!) and the children of friends as an enthusiastic hobbyist. Hikes became about what I could photograph along the way. This spring, chance gave me two fantastic opportunities - providing photos for Kevin and Amy's Wedding and Montana Grand Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star. I love taking photos, and have decided I need to share them! I hope to update this blog several times a week with new photos I've taken. Thanks to all my friends who have helped along the way with my photographic journey. Enjoy!
